£30,782 – £32,021 pro rata (£18,469 to £19,212) (dependent on experience)

SportPark, Loughborough, LE11 3QF with travel around the midlands

Term:
Fixed term up to 12 months (Maternity Cover)
Swim England is the national governing body for swimming in England. We help people learn how to swim, enjoy the water, and compete in our sports of swimming, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming.
We are seeking a Health and Wellbeing Manager to join our team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity working within the Health and Wellbeing Team, reporting to the Head of Health and Wellbeing.
At Swim England we are passionate about supporting as many people as possible to benefit from the health and wellbeing properties of being active in the water. The successful candidate in this role will work with operators to create an inclusive environment and offering that is attractive to people who have, or at risk of, long term health conditions and impairments.

We therefore are looking for someone who:
• Can build strong working partnerships and connects people and organisations.
• Is able to empathise and understand the needs of people with long term health conditions and impairments and the barriers they may face entering the water.
• Can support people to improve their health and wellbeing through swimming and aquatic activity.
• Can coach partners to develop local delivery solutions.
• Has a solution focused, flexible approach and can develop positive and creative solutions in challenging situations.
• Works well in a team environment, making best use of everyone’s abilities.
• Is constantly seeking learning opportunities and seeking to support others to develop their knowledge and skills.
