Ex-professional tennis player, Clinton Lamprecht founded the England Sports Group in 1991. The company has been coaching children sport since then when the first club was opened at Hampton School, Middlesex. The England Sports Group has four strong divisions; ESG Schools, Tennis England, Camp England, and Gymnastics England.
Today the England Sports group provides sports coaching for children in 10 clubs and at more than 50 schools. More than 2000 children are coached each week in sports and the arts such as tennis, football, hockey, gymnastics, netball, dance, and drama.

The Position
Self-employed Head of Tennis Performance at the highly impressive & prestigious Hampton School. They will be responsible for growing & delivering a successful independent schools tennis programme at the school, a full-term time junior programme at the club, LTA tournaments and all year-round school holiday tennis camps.

Independent day school for boys aged 11-18. 6 tennis courts.

Job Specification
Coaching programme
• Work with the Head of Tennis at Hampton School to develop the schools existing tennis teams.
• Build and develop junior & adult tennis programmes at the Tennis England Hampton club.
• Lead classes at the club and schools with a team of coaches working with you.
• Running tennis holiday camps at the club.
• Running LTA tournaments at the club.
Junior development
• Develop a strong performance programme for both the school during the day & club programmes in the evenings.
• Actively support and encourage juniors to start competing in competition in ESG tournaments and other LTA sanctioned tournaments.
• Identify young talent amongst the juniors and getting them to play more to tennis.
• Deliver high quality individual lessons.
• Go to watch your juniors compete at tournaments on a regular basis.
Development of the Club
• Work closely with the Director of Sport to develop high quality lessons and ideas to improve the number of participating juniors and members of the club at both term time sessions and holiday camps.
• Build a strong and long term relationship with Hampton School with both the Head of Tennis and other staff members.

To Be Successful
Ambitious and highly motivated individual to grow a successful independent school’s tennis programme during the day and a growing club squad programme around this.

LTA Level 4 Licensed Coach with experience in working with high level players.
Experience at growing a successful independent school’s tennis teams preferable.
Passion for learning and self-improvement.
Highly personal with exceptional communication skills.
Must be willing to relocate if not currently living in the area.
Professional image.
Reliable & Punctual.
A love for working with children.
Positive ‘Can Do Mental Attitude’.
Willingness to work hard.
Good tennis playing level essential.
Fluent in the English language is essential.
