Grants Officer – Community Foundation for Surrey – Guildford, Surrey, South East England

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to deliver an effective Grant Programme to support the needs of community and voluntary organisations in Surrey.

Providing front-line contact, outreach and capability building support, you will deliver accurate grant assessments and funding recommendations to meet the grant programme and Donor fund criteria, including assessing the impact of grants awarded. You will also maintain excellent working relationships with voluntary groups, Donors, Trustees, Grants Panels, Local Authorities and other organisations.

You will be highly motivated with exceptional communications skills and have the ability to learn swiftly and build good relationships at all levels. Ideally, you’ll have experience of grant assessments and application processes but this is not essential, however it is crucial you have excellent word processing competency including Word, Excel, Power Point and databases. We are looking for someone with a real interest in grant-making who has the passion to not only build a career within the charitable sector, but to support community needs across Surrey.
