Finance and Payroll Officer – UKAD

Job Description
Job purpose
The Finance and Payroll Officer will work in the Finance team to complete tasks required within the Finance department, providing financial support both internally to UK Anti-Doping colleagues as well as external customers and suppliers.

Person specification
Qualifications/experience/knowledge
• AAT Qualified or equivalent
• Desirable – educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience of working as a Finance Officer
• Understanding of bookkeeping principles
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
• Experience in accounting systems, with in depth knowledge of the sales and purchase ledger
• Desirable experience of payroll
• Ability to prioritise work to ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner
• A keen eye for detail and technical competence
• A passion for, and knowledge of, sport is desirable.

• Provide a customer service attitude to Finance and Quality Directorate with a can-do attitude
• Accomplish tasks by considering all areas involved no matter how small; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks
