England Talent Pathway Coordinator – Walsall – British Judo Association

Job Description
SCOPE
The post holder will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the England Talent Pathway, contributing to the day to day effective operation of the Performance Pathway Centres, Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) and England Talent Development programmes.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Uphold, advocate and ensure staff and athletes comply with the BJA’s and Performance Department’s values and behaviours.
• Highly effective and courteous administration service is provided to staff, visitors, Judo players, members and stakeholders.
• Ensure identified England Talent Programme activity is effectively and efficiently administered to ensure players and coaches receive the highest quality experience.
• Support the management of England Performance Pathway Centres against Service Level Agreements that explicitly outlines annual performance goals/targets, quality of delivery, values and behaviours in accordance with the BJA Corporate strategy
• Proactively manage & maintain dairies, bookings and finances to ensure a high quality service is provided and reported upon monthly to the Performance Pathway Senior Manager. 1) Uphold the core values of the British Judo Association to contribute towards a high performing team

2) Be the first point of contact for England Talent Pathway enquiries including Performance Pathway Centres, England Squad and England Talent Development programmes (phone, letter and email) and correspondence, ensuring they are dealt with efficiently, effectively and appropriately.
3) Coordinate all England Talent Programme activities and logistical support including coaching rotas, domestic training camps, international competitions (funded, part and self-funded) and training camps together with BJA Sport & Performance departments (collaborate)
4) Implement effective electronic and manual procedures and recording systems in accordance with the Association’s policies to ensure accurate information is readily available.
5) Administer the diaries/calendars, meetings and bookings for the England Talent Pathway programmes ensuring there are no conflicts, and information is readily accessible to all staff and stakeholders.
6) Provide administrative support to England Talent Pathway meetings including the production of and circulation of agenda and minutes as directed.
7) Maintain accurate and secure England Talent Pathway athlete records, and circulate information as directed.
8) Administer the ordering of supplies for Performance Pathway staff and prepare invoices with budget codes for authorisation.
9) Liaise with the BJA Communications and IT team to maintain the relevant England Talent Pathway sections of the Associations website.

REQUIRED SKILLS
1) Demonstrates a high level of planning and communication skills and able to project plan events and people.
2) Demonstrates highly effective communication skills that meet the key stakeholders’ individual needs.
3) Demonstrates an understanding of financial recording/ reporting.
4) Able to effectively deliver upon multiple projects.
5) IT literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.
6) Acceptable Enhanced CRB/DBS disclosure.
