Corporate Partnerships Manager – Victim Support – London

Victim Support is the independent charity for victims and witnesses of crime with an award-winning network of 1,400 staff and 4,300 volunteers. The charity is a world leader in victim and witness services and its services are available for free to victims of crime in England and Wales. Last year we offered support to more than one million victims of crime and helped more than 198,000 people giving evidence at criminal trials. Our specialist teams support people bereaved by murder and manslaughter, tackle domestic violence, antisocial behaviour and hate crime, help children and young people and deliver restorative justice.

You would be joining the charity at a time it is investing in fundraising and income generation. The landscape for funding our services is changing and this presents both great opportunities and challenges. We will meet these with our usual energy and vigour, ensuring that the voices of victims are heard in all our work.

We want to develop and diversify our funding base so that we’re well placed to grow the charity into the future. The role of Corporate Partnerships Manager will have responsibility for developing all initiatives related to corporate partnerships, including corporate social responsibility, cause related marketing, charity of the year, employee engagement – e.g, payroll giving, matched giving, and volunteering.

The post will suit someone with extensive new business experience in corporate fundraising orsales. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be confident and entrepreneurial, able to instil a sense of credibility, and create and pitch proposals, with an understanding of the win/win of successful corporate partnerships. Building on your early successes, we will reinvest some of the funds raised to recruit further fundraising posts and grow the future team’s capacity. You will report to the Head of Fundraising and Income Generation.

Victim Support offers a 25 days holiday per year, 5% employer contributory pension scheme and the opportunity to join a values driven charity. If the above sounds like you, we really want to hear from you.

The closing date for applications is 5pm, Friday 10 April 2015.
