Community Coach Apprenticeships – Stevenage FC Foundation

Job Description
The Foundation has four apprenticeships available for the 16/17 season to support the work undertaken in the local community. We are currently seeking 16-18 year olds to join the team and continue their education whilst gaining vital real life work experience.

Apprentices can complete either a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport (x4)

Job Title: Community Coach Apprentice (x4)
Reports To: Head of Foundation & School Sport Manager
Location: Various locations across Stevenage and Hertfordshire
Contract: 30 hours per week

Job Purpose:
To support the delivery of high quality school & community based coaching for all ages in Stevenage and surrounding area, enabling individuals to develop their abilities to their potential and enjoy physical activity which will encourage them to sustain activity levels.

Entry Requirements:
• 5 GCSE’s, at A-E grade with one preferably in Sport
• Young people must be 16 -18 years old on commencement of programme
