Teacher of Science – Easthampstead Park Community School – Bracknell Forest

We are looking for vibrant and effective teachers to join our expanding science team. You must be committed to inspiring and motivating students and be able to teach students across the Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. (You will have a specialism in a science to enable you to teach at A Level). You must have excellent subject knowledge and be a strong classroom practitioner. You should be willing to embrace different teaching styles and be open to teaching outside of your science specialism up to KS4.

Applications are welcome from dynamic newly qualified teachers, although there is a possibility for a suitably experienced candidate to take on a specific responsibility for which a TLR is available. The staff in the Science Department are diverse, dynamic and are all committed to taking the subject forward and making it even more successful. The staff in the department are dedicated to shaping their teaching to how the students best learn.

The department is well resourced and each member of staff has their own teaching room and laptop, which operates on a wireless network across school. We also have a POD, which is a zoned area for group work, equipped with an interactive white board, a wide screen TV, a telescope and other exciting science based equipment to engage learners.
