Teacher of Maths – St Michael’s Catholic College – Southwark

Governors are seeking to appoint for September 2015 a talented, committed and enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics to join an outstanding department. The successful candidate appointed will have the opportunity to teach across the age and ability range up to and including A ‘level. This post could suit either an ambitious NQT with a strong mathematical background who has the potential to become an exceptional practitioner, or an experienced teacher.

St Michael’s was judged outstanding by OFSTED in both 2011 and 2013, while last year’s GCSE results were 84% A*-C in Maths. It is part of a teaching alliance and has a strong commitment to the professional development of all staff and to excellent out comes for students through exceptional quality in teaching and learning as well as high expectations of behaviour. The college has a strong community spirit, while as a Catholic School, faith articulates all our work.
