The Duston School is seeking an exceptional leader and outstanding teacher for the post of Director of Learning for creative and expressive arts and PE from January 2016. The successful candidate will be a strong and inspirational teacher who is committed to leading this newly formed faculty to develop to outstanding. You will be an arts or PE specialist with outstanding outcomes at all key stages and will have a proven track record of raising attainment and securing outstanding progress. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious leader to move the department beyond outstanding. In 2014 both our attainment and progress data placed the department in the top 20% of similar schools. You will be involved in many forward thinking initiatives through school to school support and

opportunities to deliver external CPD through our teaching school. In addition we are proud to be an Arts Mark Gold school.
