Francis Sultana, a leading furniture design and interiors studio, London, designs and manages production of high-end bespoke furniture for private and commercial clients.
We are recruiting a highly ambitious and motivated production designer to join the studio’s production department based in South Kensington, London. The candidate needs to be proactive and a responsive problem solver, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through to completion. The candidate needs to show clear, positive thinking skills with a willingness to learn and develop his or her expertise.
This is a full-time/part-time paid internship for three months which could develop into a full-time permanent position.
Person spec:
have a portfolio displaying knowledge of Rhino 3D modelling and Adobe Creative Suite
confident in Windows operating system
background or education in design, particularly furniture design
previous experience in an internship or position in the field
excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment
excellent communications skills both in written and spoken English
excellent organisational and administrative skills
available to travel around UK and Europe
currently residing in London
The successful candidate will assist the Francis Sultana team with the production and development of furniture, accessories, including the design, developing designs from sketches to presentation renderings and models. The candidate will also assist with the daily running of the department.
