Part-III Project Architect – We Made That – London

We Made That are increasing the capacity of the practice, continuing to take on larger, complex and varied urban projects. This role offers candidates the opportunity to see projects through from concept design to delivery in a dynamic, ambitious and supportive practice environment.

New projects include: bespoke infill housing for a London council; an area strategy for Kingston including masterplanning of several mixed-use sites; growth strategies; high street and public realm delivery projects in the UK and delivery of innovative workspace projects in London.

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled qualified architect with at least three years’ post qualification experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a small project team delivering both built and masterplan projects for public clients.

Experience

Candidates applying should:

have a range of delivery experience in the UK potentially including housing, workspace and public realm
have the ability to work independently and take a lead on project development
have experience of leading a team of architectural assistants, overseeing project resourcing levels and time management
demonstrate a powerful public conscience in pursing project goals and practice aims

Skills:

You must be a talented designer and have good technical knowledge with a great eye for presentation, detail and construction execution. You should have an ability to drive project design development. Excellent communication skills and a desire to contribute to lively, creative and productive team working required. Experience with Vectorworks and Adobe Creative Suits are essential.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and would ideally be available to start before the end of February.
