Global Blue is currently recruiting for a Designer to work alongside the Art Director developing and implementing the company’s customer engagement strategy – creating corporate artwork that appeals to the international high-end traveller.
The role will be actively contributing to the creation of high quality creative executions in order to promote Global Blue’s products and services catalogue across print and digital.
The candidate will be able to demonstrate a genuine passion for graphic design, typography, print production and digital communicaton. They will also be self-motivated with ability to juggle several projects at once but also focus on the task at hand and follow design direction.
Responsibilities
Support the Art Director in the delivery of all assigned projects
Ensure jobs are executed to a high quality standard and company guidelines are maintained
Deliver final artwork to agreed deadlines and specifications
Liaise with internal and external clients (including several high profile luxury brands) and stakeholders to meet design requirements
Manage time efficiently to ensure delivery within set deadlines
Actively advocate a design culture across the company
Research of current and future design trends
Key skills and competences
Experience in a designer position (ideally across print and digital)
Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills
Creative flair with meticulous attention to detail
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Fluent in English (verbal and written), other languages desirable
Knowledge of print production workflow and management software
Experience of designing for Arabic, Russian and Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) languages a distinct advantage
Mobile UI design experience a bonus
Experience in an international, multi-cultural company a plus but not essential
Positive, hardworking, problem-solving attitude
Duration: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week, with flexible working hours.
