Roles and Responsibilities:
Utilities
• To assist the Academy Resources Co-ordinator with printing Academy player and staff training and match kit in compliance with competition regulations.
• To assist the Academy Resources Co-ordinator to prepare training & travel kit for all Academy trialists.
• To assist the Academy Resources Co-ordinator to launder, dry, store and set out training and match kit for all Academy players and staff.
• To assist all Academy departments with storage and inventory management.
• To clean and tidy work areas e.g. dressing room, boot room, kit room.
• To attend weekly operations meetings as directed by Academy Secretary.
• To report any maintenance requirements to the Academy Secretary.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Driving
• Transporting players to and from training venues.
• Regularly conducting vehicle safety checks
• Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
• Liaising with staff, players & parents in a professional manner
• Organising the drop off and pick up schedule
• Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient fuel and are always ready for use.
• Updating monthly mileage records.
• Driving a variety of vehicles, including company cars & 9-seater people carriers.
• Being attentive to traffic and weather conditions and ensuring passenger safety.
• Reporting delays, accidents, and emergencies to Academy Secretary
• Maintaining a clean vehicle.
• Enforcing conduct and safety rules on the bus.
• Inspecting the vehicle thoroughly before and after each trip.

General
• Follow all Club Policies, such as Equality & Diversity, Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Anti-Corruption & Bribery and GDPR.
• Make suggestions to improve the working environment and contribute to positive employee relations within your area of work and Swansea City Football Club as a whole.
• To take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other employees and members of the public who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
• To comply with all aspects of the Swansea City Football Club Health and Safety Policy and Arrangements, to enable the Company to perform its civil and statutory obligations in relation to Health & Safety
• Ensure effective communication within your work team and across Swansea City whilst actively offering support and guidance, as necessary.
Person Specification

Essential
• Valid Clean Driving Licence
• At least 1 year within a driving-based role
• Over the age of 21 for company insurance purposes
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to confidently conduct vehicle checks (water, oil, tyres etc)
• A safe and vigilant driver with excellent understanding of the Highway Code.
• Experience of driving in hazardous conditions
• Able to take direction and meet strict deadlines

Desirable
• Previous experience of laundering clothing within a professional environment
• Confident using a Satnav or map for directions
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience of driving an 8-passenger vehicle or larger
• Knowledge of the Swansea, Neath, and Port Talbot Area.
