Receptionist – British Cycling – Manchester

Job Description
British Cycling is the internationally recognised sports governing body for cycling in the UK with over 100,000 members. Our continued success is built on the successful delivery of results at elite level and a strong focus on developing the grass roots of our sport.

    The Role

Working within our Corporate Services team, you will be the first contact point at the British Cycling reception desk, performing switchboard and reception services for the organisation

Specific responsibilities include; managing the switchboard, preparing outgoing post, booking meeting rooms and assisting in other administration tasks.

We require a highly organised and efficient Receptionist to ensure that customers are greeted in a professional and friendly manner and are directed onwards to their point of contact efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of working on a busy reception desk with excellent customer service and communication skills. We are looking for a person who has a positive, practical ‘can-do’ approach who can work under pressure and use their own initiative to solve issues

    About Us

The hours for this role are 12pm to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 11:45am to 3:45pm on a Friday. British Cycling operates a pension scheme, a salary sacrifice childcare voucher scheme and a cycle to work scheme. All employees are also provided with gold membership of British Cycling.
