Principal,Communications & Collaboration – EBRD

Purpose of Job
The Principal, Communications and Collaboration (Network SME) role will deliver an oversight; planning and control function for all IT services delivered by 3rd Party suppliers that support communications and collaborations across the service.
The post holder will ensure that communications and collaborations solutions including the EBRD Network are : aligned with the banks product/ technology strategy, secure, fit for purpose and cost effective thereby contributing to the aims of creating a secure, efficient and responsive customer-centric service culture across the Bank and its partner organisations.
They will be responsible for the governance of supplier adherence to EBRD standards related to all technologies utilised to deliver Communications and Collaboration services to EBRD, as well as for defining and owning the Technology product roadmap, which underpins these services.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Providing technical governance of the 3rd party supplier providing the Communications and Collaboration services.
Responsible for developing the Communications and Collaboration Technology Roadmap. This covers Email Services, Instant Messaging, Voice and Video calling as well as Network (MPLS, LAN, WAN, WiFi)
Owns Product Roadmaps and engages with the Service Delivery Managers to support the Service Strategy definition.
Contributes to policy and standards definition
Responsible for working with the outsource supplier to provide operational Communications and Collaboration support.
Ensures all email and communications Architectures are robust, resilient and appropriately implemented, secured, tested and documented.
In collaboration with the supplier, define and implement a comms and collaboration services design assurance and governance framework that will ensure solutions are aligned to IT’s strategic objectives and in line with IT architecture principles.
Plan, monitor and review progress against agreed plans for comms and collaborations services including management of risk.
Working alongside the Architecture team, this role will provide technical advisory services to projects.
Working alongside the AD, Technical Operations create the necessary resource model for all Change initiatives and oversee all Communicatons and Collabration deliveries. This includes the new Headquarters, Resident Offices and Data Center.
Is the single Point of Contact and escalation for Communications and Collaboration services for all projects

Qualifications & Skills / Experience & Knowledge
• Good understanding of ITIL framework and all associated ITIL processes.
• Experience of managing 3rd parties and relevant 3rd party delivered services
• Extensive understanding of networks, including MPLS, LAN, WAN technologies
• Excellent understanding of technology: software, hardware relevant to the banks business
o Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016
o O365
o EMM Enterprise Mobility Management platform
o SMTP content email filtering system
o Email Encryption (Highly restricted email management)
o Instant messaging (CISCO Jabber), Skype for Business
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate appropriate, concise and accurate information to a wide variety of audiences both within and outside of the EBRD
• The ability to operate sensitively and effectively in a multicultural environment
• Excellent understanding of IT security issues, and related best practices
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
• Excellent analytical and technical skills.
• Has strong transformational leadership skills
• Experience of risk management
• Experience of working with and influencing senior management and external stakeholders
• Experience of supplier management including contract negotiation and contract management
