Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist – Zone Six – Health & Performance – Loughton

Job Description
We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join an exciting
team at Zone Six – Health & Performance in Loughton, Essex.
We are an exciting, ambitious, experienced multi-disciplinary team of sports medicine and injuries specialists including physiotherapists, massage therapists, sports physicians and performance coaches. Amongst our team we have people currently working within the Premier League or with experience of working with elite athletes across professional sport around the world. Our experience in elite sport has inspired us to be able to provide a similar service to our clients, striving to bring the highest level of elite care, normally provided to athletes, to all our clients. We currently work with international footballers, Olympians, celebrities, county cricketers and commonwealth boxing champions. We have strong relationships with leading practitioners such as, sports doctors, podiatrists, nutritionists and surgeons for onward referral and collaboration. We have a brand-new facility in Loughton fully equipped with everything you’ll need to practice including a gym which is an excellent environment for client rehabilitation as well as an opportunity to work alongside and cross-refer with our coaches.

You will have a drive to learn from others to support your professional development, with the opportunity to attend internal CPD session. We are a growing business ensuring we use our links to drive footfall to the business, but it is expected that practitioners
use their own initiative and provide ideas.
The candidate’s primary responsibility will be examination, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation utilising their skills and knowledge. The candidate will have a keen interest in the client journey and how treatment can form a strong part of their experience.

We would like the candidate to have the following skills and experience:
• a BSc or MSc degree in Physiotherapy and be a Chartered Physiotherapist
• a registration with the HCPC
• a minimum of 3 year post graduate experience, including NHS experience
• can demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) and a desire to improve as a physiotherapist
• strong manual therapy skills
• the ability to provide safe and progressive gym-based rehabilitation programmes
• the ability to work as an autonomous practitioner in providing physiotherapy assessments, diagnosis and treatments to a wide range of musculoskeletal patients
• the ability to use evidence-based practise and specialist skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions
• the ability to liaise with other health care professionals to provide the optimum management of patients
• the ability to participate in activities to further develop own development and other service developments and attend and take part in education and training as required
• the ability to maintain up to date physiotherapy records in line with professional and clinical governance standards
• the desire to provide a high standard of care to every patient in order to maintain and prove the high standards of the company
• a background working in sport would be desirable

The role may include peak times, early morning or evenings. Saturday morning availability is also desirable. The position will be on a self-employed, commission basis with an income dependent upon experience. You will have free use of the gym facilities and in house regular CPD opportunities including opportunities to learn from clinicians and coaches currently working in professional sport. Hours and income will be discussed at interview
