Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed individual who will form an integral part of our Coaching Team at Sporting Khalsa Women FC by taking on the role of Club Goalkeeper Coach.
Key Duties include:
• Delivery of goalkeeper specific coaching sessions (Tuesday Evenings)
• Monitoring and evaluating player performance.
• Attending senior fixtures on Sunday’s (some junior fixtures on Saturday’s where possible) to do pre-match warm ups, assist manager and help with monitoring and implementing player development.
• Prepare effective goalkeeper warmup plans for non goalkeeper specific coaches/managers for them to use and aid them on match days – (Junior Teams)
Hours of Work: Tuesday Evening/2 Hours and match days Sunday PM
Minimum: FA Level 1 GK award (or in progress with experience), Emergency Aid, Safeguarding & CRC.
Desirable: FA Level 2 GK award
We currently have five female sides from U14’s up to Senior Women’s and are based in Willenhall, which is located between Walsall and Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
The role will be predominantly working with our senior ladies teams whom compete in the FA Women’s Premier League against the likes of Wolves, Stoke City, Derby County, Nottingham Forest, Rotherham United to name a few.
