About the opportunity:
Our exciting new e-steam programme will engage children and adults in a range of creative and innovative activities that will inspire and enhance their future aspirations.
Based within the Education team of the charity, e-steam will provide unique opportunities for children to develop knowledge in subject areas such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths through STEAM education resources, robotics and virtual reality as well as working within our outreach programme through regular classroom sessions in schools and community settings across Merseyside.
The e-steam facilitator will work with the Sports Education and Development Manager to design, develop and deliver e-steam programme content appropriate for EITC Youth Engagement and wider programmes.

Other key responsibilities will include:
Promotion and delivery of ‘Active Science’ in Schools across Merseyside in line with programme Key Performance Indicators.
Identify opportunities for growth within the programme through innovative and creative methods relevant to STEAM based learning.
To facilitate training on the Active Science programme to wider EITC teams to ensure programme is embedded in wider programme delivery
Engage EITC programmes in STEAM based activities utilising the Digital Skills Lab.
To work with existing products and design and deliver programmes in line with requirements
Be able to travel independently across the Liverpool City Region.

Who we are looking for:
Essentially, we are looking for an individual who has a passion for growing and developing programmes that provide life changing opportunities for young people.
Our successful candidate will have experience of coaching, developing and working with young people from a variety of different backgrounds as well experience of delivering high quality educational programmes.

Other key Knowledge and Skills will include:
To be fully IT literate with the ability to use MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Moviemaker)
Creative presentation skills
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of different audiences
Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines
Relevant qualifications in sport development, coaching, training or teaching.
Clean, full UK driving license
The working hours for this role will be 35 hours per week.
This role will be offered on a 12 month Fixed term basis
