Diversity & Inclusion Project Manager – British Horseracing Authority

Job Description
The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) is the governing and regulatory body of what many consider to be the best horseracing in the world and the second biggest spectator sport in the UK.
In 2018, the BHA led the establishment of British racing’s independent Diversity in Racing Steering Group (DiRSG) which works collaboratively to champion diversity and inclusion in British racing and to assist the industry in its efforts. Their vision is for British racing to be a sport in which everyone has the opportunity to achieve their potential and where fans from all communities feel welcome.
This is a challenging and exciting new industry focused position; the remit is to play a key role in driving at least two crucial areas of work which the Diversity in Racing Steering Group have identified as priorities for 2021.

The successful candidate will:
• have the ability to develop, lead and coordinate the delivery of project plans.
• have proven experience of moving agenda’s forward with enthusiasm while managing associated budgets and resources and delivering timely progress.
• ideally have experience managing campaigns or communication projects that engage, inspire and influence a varied audience, along with experience of working on equality, diversity and inclusion projects.
