Design / Administration Assistant – Sarah Delaney Design – London

About us:
Sarah Delaney Design is a well-known and long established interior design company looking to recruit a design/administration assistant. The applicant should have some qualification or work experience in the interior design industry.

The Role:
The role will involve a high level of organisation and efficiency managing a variety of tasks including: project running, liaising with clients and suppliers, diary and work planning, general organisation of the studio, placing orders, preparing invoices and estimates, researching products, cost management.

Requirements:

confident with the administrative aspects of a design office
proficient using: Microsoft Word, Excel and Photoshop
knowledge of EstiMac ideal but not essential
able and willing to work extra hours when required
assisting with creation and delivering of presentations
creating sample boards and researching concepts
contributing to the project management of jobs, on the administrative side as well as creative side
attending site meetings, regularly liaising with suppliers, architects, contractors and clients
sourcing and procurement of FF&E and soft furnishing samples and items
all administration related to the projects, and the smooth running of the office, including invoice creation and liaising with book keeper
evident passion for creating beautiful, unique designs for the high-end residential market
keen eye for detail and a thorough work ethic with professional approach at all times

Availability:
Full time, starting immediately.

Contract:
Initial three month contract.
