Content Producer – Leicester Tigers

The Role:
At Leicester Tigers, we are excited to announce that an opportunity has opened up to join our Communications Department, as a Content Producer.
The primary focus of the role will be to create entertaining and informative video and visual content from all areas of the club, to further engage audiences and support communications output.
Reporting directly to the Head of Communications, and assisting the Content Production Manager, the successful candidate will join an experienced communications team within a unique and exciting environment.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Creating, filming and editing original, entertaining and informative content to agreed briefs and schedules;
• Establishing templates and standards for regular content output, with graphics, captions, imagery and partnership assets where necessary, with the ability to animate visual graphics;
• Working across multiple video and content projects;
• Involvement in end-to-end production, including planning creative meetings, storyboarding, on-location filming and post-production editing, including creative re-packaging for specific platforms;
• Archiving video and audio footage alongside appropriate stock assets;
• Working closely with the Communications Team and other departments to deliver content to the highest standards, and to the right markets;
• Staying in step with advancements in video production technology, tools and equipment to further develop the department’s hardware and software inventory, putting forward recommendations where appropriate;
• Up keeping of the club’s media equipment and assets;
• Assisting digital and social media content across the club, including partnerships, marketing, retail and community messaging as well as the rugby;
• Carrying out any other duties and tasks required by department management, which are within the post-holder’s capabilities;
• Reflecting and promoting the club’s key messages and values.

Working within a fast-paced and high intensity environment, the successful candidate will need the ability to think on their feet, effectively prioritise their workload, and attack challenges head on.
Essential:
 Prior experience within a fast-paced commercial or sports setting;
 Knowledge of Adobe Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop;
 Experience shooting video, audio and production using professional video equipment and mobile;
 Demonstrable understanding of social media and how platforms can be used to best advantage;
 Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team while also taking individual responsibility;
 A full and valid UK driving licence, as well as access to own transportation;
 The ability to obtain an Enhanced RFU DBS Certificate.
 Eligible to work in the UK.
Desirable:
 Film-making, Media or other relevant degree;
 Demonstrable experience with animation and graphics;
 Awareness of digital marketing practices;
 Knowledge of OTT platforms and capabilities.
