Title: Advanced Squad Coach/Manager for under 13s

Pay: £12-£15 per hour for coaching (1.5 hour per week on a Monday evening 5.30 – 7.00pm) and £35-£50 per fixture + travel expenses
League: Junior Premier League (www.junior-premier.co.uk)

An opportunity to join a professional team of Arsenal Soccer Schools staff, coaching/managing an Advanced Squad team to compete within the Junior Premier League. Current vacancy for our under 13s age group where you will be working alongside another experienced Arsenal Soccer Schools member of staff in managing/coaching your team. Previous experience in running a team is desired as well as being a highly motivated and organised individual. The right person will also have the chance to progress and expand their role with Arsenal Soccer Schools.

You must be able to commit to at least: a 1 hour 30 minute training session once a week and matches on a Saturday morning (usually 10.30am KO). Advanced Squad teams play in the Junior Premier League which means away matches can be in various locations across the South West (Bristol/Devon/Somerset) – the ideal candidate will be available to fulfil these travel requirements every weekend.

The successful candidates will be required to have good knowledge of the game whilst also being self-motivated to remain up-to-date and keep abreast of current and future ways of practice.

Successful applicants will undergo a full Enhanced CRB/DBS check alongside our child protection and disqualification procedure.

Outline of key areas of delivery:
• Coaching/managing a team within the JPL
• Following an annual training programme to aid the development of all players
• Mid and end of season reviews

Essential Skills:
1. Excellent organisational skills

5. Full UK driving license/car access
6. FA Level Two/FA licensed coach
7. Adaptable and flexible

FA Youth Module/UEFA B Licence or above
