Job Description
UK Athletics (UKA), the National Governing Body for the nation’s favourite Olympic and Paralympic sport of athletics has an exciting vacancy for a Senior Marketing Executive to work within the Marketing team.

The role will be responsible for creating and developing the marketing plan for British Athletics events and TV Events, both on and offline (based on the marketing strategy set by the Commercial General Manager), delivering a £3 million ticketing income plan, and managing the TV events budget. The successful candidate will have experience in event planning, preferably with staging, seating and logistics, be able to work collaboratively internally and with external partners as well as having communication skills of the highest standard. Excellent writing skills, and planning and organising skills are also essential.

This is a demanding role working in a well-established and highly effective team. The athletics season in the UK is particularly busy during the Summer and the successful applicant will be required to work the weekends of major events in the UK Athletics calendar and travel as necessary with the role.
