Sales / Showroom Manager – Louise Bradley – London

Louise Bradley is an internationally recognised and highly regarded interior design and interior architecture practice providing turn-key services to discerning clients in the luxury residential market. In addition to the design practice, the exquisite retail collection of furniture, fabrics and accessories is available for purchase from its showrooms in Brompton Cross, Knightsbridge and Walton Street, Chelsea.

Summary role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced result driven sales professional to take charge of the sales management of our showrooms and retail collection.

Reporting to the managing director, responsibilities will include managing and developing the company’s sales team to promote and sell its products and services through its existing and prospective sales channels. Identifying opportunities and recommending strategies to develop sustainable growth in sales and profitability.

Key responsibilities:

oversee the smooth running of the showrooms, ensuring they operate to the highest standards of customer service and presentation
manage the showroom sales team and ensure they operate with confidence, competence and knowledge of our sales procedures, products and prices
uphold the company ethos and brand values with the utmost care and attention and provide exemplary customer service
develop sales and new business opportunities with existing trade and retail clients
investigate and propose strategies for prospective sales channels
take personal responsibility for major client accounts
nurture and develop the sales team to optimise their performance
introduce and maintain a training program
recruit sales staff as deemed necessary and ensure they are fully trained in all areas
review sales team performance and roles, setting goals and targets
work collaboratively with senior management and marketing to develop new sales and marketing initiatives
report on activity, sales figures, gross margin and other KPI’s to senior management

Skills, qualities and interests:

a keen interest in interior design and experience within the luxury interiors market, ideally in selling furniture, fabrics and accessories
sales team management experience
proven track record in growing sales
first class communication skills, written and spoken
well presented and client facing
solution orientated, excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
an interest in developing opportunities with digital/e-commerce
excellent motivation and influencing skills
strong leadership and team player, committed to team and individual goals

Salary negotiable, subject to experience.
