Marketing and New Business Manager – Haworth Tompkins – London, United Kingdom

Haworth Tompkins seek an experienced marketing and communications professional to join our award-winning architectural practice to develop and manage our in-house marketing, PR, communications and new business requirements. You will be working with senior members of staff and require experience and success in a similar role ideally within the architecture, creative or construction-related sectors. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail while working to tight deadlines. Responsibilities include:

Marketing and communications:

liaise with directors and director associates to develop and oversee strategy
develop and maintain marketing material including copy and graphic identity
maintain and update marketing files, photography library and image database
coordinate mailouts and presentations
investigate and organise publicity events including building tours, public speaking, lectures, etc

Press relations:

deal with press enquiries in first instance
generate and compile written content for press releases
maintain, manage and develop press and media contacts, with targeted publications
develop and maintain PR contact database
prepare project award submissions and competition submissions

New business:

compile and co-ordinate pre-qualification questionnaire’s, expressions of interest and other bid documents
maintain new business schedule
develop, organise and format materials required for new business enquiries such as staff CVs and project sheets
proof read documents and submissions
track and report on results of submissions

Online and social media:

maintain website including updating news items and project pages
initiate and manage appropriate social media activities, Twitter, Instagram, etc
generate communications related material for mail shots, website and social media
