Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All is one of the UK’s biggest not-for-profit sporting events companies, staging a large number of high profile mass participation events across the UK including the Leeds, York and Sheffield 10Ks, Leeds Half Marathon, Sheffield Half Marathon and the Yorkshire Marathon
We are looking for an experienced, creative, enthusiastic and articulate Social Media lead to join our Leeds based team.
With strategic marketing experience, the successful candidate will be a key player in driving the business forward.
As a core member of the Marketing team, you will work closely with our Head of Marketing Operations to execute effective marketing strategies from supporting campaign development to analysing its effectiveness. You will have a great opportunity to produce engaging customer focused content through Social Media and Email formats.
You will manage and develop Run For All’s social media channels – creating engaging content – and take the lead on delivering and analysing direct marketing email campaigns. Working as part of the team you will be responsible for all paid social from strategy to delivery.
You will be familiar with digital and social media advertising and be able to identify and progress opportunities for Run For All to further its reach online. You will also play a crucial part in the development of future digital projects. SEO knowledge would be advantageous.
You will be a lively, dynamic and results-focused professional, bursting with fresh ideas. To succeed in this role, you must have a genuine enthusiasm for events and be able to immerse yourself in the ‘runner experience’

The Role
You will be responsible for the following:
• Social content creation and management across all social channels – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok and Linkedin
• To drive digital marketing campaigns and deliver creative social media marketing strategies
• Work with the Insights Manager to plan and deliver Run For All email marketing
• Analysis and reporting on all campaigns
• Writing, editing and publishing engaging, original content various forms of content across multi-media (blogs, emails, web copy, case studies, etc.)
• Manage and grow the organisation’s social media channels and presence through creative campaigns and content
• Contributing to the delivery of creative campaign ideas, including research and ideation of new projects
• Find creative ways of building an online presence that continues to grow the brand through engagement of industry professional and influencers
• Analysing and providing in-depth detail about the visitors on our website using Google analytics

Profile, skills and experience required
• Experience in SEO, Content Marketing, Digital PR, Paid social media management
• Experience in eCommerce or events background desirable
• Track record of building and delivering high-impact content that delivers on sales targets
• Exceptionally good with persuasive sales-led copy
• A positive, creative, collaborative, can-do attitude
• Analytical – monitoring usage, access, and trends
• Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite is desirable

To be considered for this role you will need to own a car and have a full clean driving licence due to the location of events and requirements to travel. You should expect to work a number of event weekends and occasionally, out of hours, especially throughout the events season. (March to October)
