Communications / Events Officer – Hockey Wales – United Kingdom

Job Description

The role will include the following key tasks:

1. Proactively managing and updating the Hockey Wales website and social media channels with relevant, accurate and engaging content
2. Working with relevant media providers (TV, radio, web and newspapers) regionally and nationally to secure media coverage for Hockey Wales news, activities and events
3. Working with internal colleagues, clubs and other external partners/stakeholders to proactively develop relevant content for promotion
4. Managing, writing and coordinating membership and other stakeholder newsletters and communications
5. Planning and delivering a number of ‘campaigns’ to communicate key messages to Hockey Wales members, stakeholders and partners
6. Managing the roll out of the brand guidelines and aspects of the communications strategy
7. Planning, managing and implementing a number of key events across the year including domestic and international hockey events and The Hockey Wales Awards
