AltAssets, the global private equity news service, is looking for an experienced financial journalist to join its London team.

The role will require a talented, hard-working journalist to build out AltAssets’ coverage of the global real estate and infrastructure investment industries – to supplement our daily news coverage of private equity, venture capital and alternative investments.

The opportunity would suit a reporter with at least one year’s experience in financial services journalism. Candidates should be familiar with the cycles of a daily news site and be used to sourcing news and off-diary stories, interviewing senior industry figures, providing insightful market comment and taking the initiative to drive new content.

Specific expertise in the private equity or investment space is welcomed, though not essential, with successful applicants displaying an eagerness to hit the ground running and be keen to take responsibility for the role.
