Campaign Manager – Naturewatch Foundation – Cheltenham, South West England

An exciting opportunity has arisen at animal welfare charity, Naturewatch Foundation, to lead and shape compelling campaigns for the purpose of advancing animal welfare in the UK, utilising the full range of communication channels and campaigning techniques.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity, which is ideal for a confident, motivated and ambitious individual with a proven track record for delivering effective campaigns, ideally within in the animal welfare sphere. You will have proven experience of using policy, research, lobbying, public campaigning and media to influence the public, government and industry. You will be passionate about animal welfare with evidence to support this.

Essential

Educated to degree level or proven experience in a similar role
Experienced in campaigning, lobbying and project managing
Experienced researcher
Experienced copywriter
Experienced in writing evidence-based reports
Good communication skills, able to comfortably liaise with a wide range of people from supporters, journalists, to government officials
Good standard of English and grammar
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Must be well organised, good at time management and pro-active

Desirable

Experience with social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook
Fundraising experience
