Schoolboy Physiotherapist – Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club

Job Description
The Academy at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club is seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to the position of full time Schoolboy Physiotherapist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all Academy physiotherapy activities encompassing the U8 to U16 age groups. The diversity of the role demands a high degree of organisation and the ability to effectively manage multiple teams in order to ensure that all players throughout the age-groups benefit from a high level of physiotherapy provision.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
• BSc in Physiotherapy
• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Pitch side first aid qualification
• Full UK driving license and car
• Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
• An understanding of working in the football environment
• Experience of developing and implementing innovative ideas and putting them into practice
• Ability to clinically asses and treat a range of paediatric neuro-musculoskeletal conditions
• Ability to appropriately modify training and rehabilitation programmes according to clinical need
• An understanding of the Elite Player Performance Plan including the audit process and categorisation of football academies
• An understanding of the Long Term Athlete Development Plan
