Features & Work Editor – Campaign – The Haymarket Media Group

This role will be responsible for weekly features from concept and commissioning, through to editing and publication, and overseeing all curation of creative work.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
To research, commission and edit features/work content and supplements that are interesting, forward thinking and industry leading.
Contributing to content and working with a small team of editors and designers to ensure the quality and integrity of editorial output.
Maintain strong connections with new and existing relevant topics.
To build good contacts within the relevant industry.
Contribute to news online and in print.
In addition to writing and editing skills, initiative and the ability to work closely with freelance writers, designers and commercial departments are vital.
The successful candidate will be a creative and highly motivated individual with a strong background in print and online publications.

Person Specification
Essential
Good command of forward planning and research.
You will be an excellent communicator with good attention to detail and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent time management and commuication skills.
Self-starter who can multitask, solve problems, and take ownership of projects.
Ability to forge strong working relationships with a variety of colleagues.
Ability to adapt to and operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving team environment.
An interest in creativity in all its forms.

Desirable
An understanding of the complex agency and production landscape.
