Senior Partnerships Officer – Women’s Aid – Bristol or, London

We are looking for a Senior Partnerships Officer who is enthusiastic, proactive and will be responsible for raising significant income per year whilst managing high level trust and statutory relationships. Working at a senior level with major influencers and introducers you must be a credible, experienced, self-motivated professional with excellent communication and relationship development skills and a great ability to network. As an individual, you will be skilled at listening to people and asking insightful, open questions to identify people’s motivations, interests and passions.

This role calls for an individual who is able to think and plan strategically, with an entrepreneurial and enthusiastic approach. Someone who can persuade, influence and negotiate at the highest levels. You will also have the ability to lead, motivate and develop relationships.

It would be advantageous if you’ve worked in a similar fundraising capacity; working with others at a senior level with the strategic ability to spot opportunities, make connections, evaluate and act upon them. You will be quick to grasp the needs of the organisation in order to make timely and appropriate applications to maximise income. You will have strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail and a flexible but organised approach to work. With the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines you will be exceptionally well-organised and work well with a number of key colleagues across more than one site.

As part of the Fundraising Team you will develop and maintain both internal and external contacts with responsibility for securing significant gifts that will help support our national work to end domestic violence against women and children. In this role you will work alongside senior colleagues, trustees and ambassadors. We require an experienced individual who is interested in people, quick at making connections and who is looking to work in a target-driven fundraising environment.

You will also need to provide support in establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of influential and wealthy individuals to secure on-going major financial support. You will also need to proactively identify and research potential supporters, building clear, detailed profiles to establish their potential relationship and alignment with the organisation.

Good at collating and writing reports, you are great with people and are comfortable meeting multiple deadlines. Happy in a busy environment you will be able to work on your own initiative, have an eye for detail and the confidence to make changes to improve processes.
