We are seeking to appoint an exceptional practitioner of teaching and learning to lead the History Department and support the whole-school aim of moving from good to outstanding.

The successful candidate will be passionate and enthusiastic about their subject and ready to lead and inspire a dedicated team in a subject which has a high uptake in school at GCSE. You will have exceptional organisational skills and be able to plan and strategise in response to national changes in education. You must be innovative in the classroom and have the capability and emotional intelligence to impart and share good practice both within your department and across the whole of school.
