Head of Business Development – Vyonyx – London

Vyonyx is on the lookout for an enthusiastic new team member to join us and take the senior role – head of business development.

The successful candidate will be in charge of the creation of long-term value for our brand from current and future clients, markets and relationships.

Vyonyx was been set up in London in 2007. We are “image makers”. The team fluctuates between 10 and 15 people – most of us are architects. We work predominately with architects, designers and progressive developers on variety of projects in different parts of the world.

Currently, Vyonyx operates from three locations (London, Nice – France and Zadar – Croatia ) and provides services to high profile architectural practices and developers, performing globally.

Detailed job description:

Role purpose: To manage and protect the Vyonyx Ltd and client association, by developing trusted and reliable relationships, improving project rigour and strengthening client loyalty to maximise long-term growth and revenue opportunities.

Location: London, UK/our other offices could be considered as well.
Reports to: directors
Salary: £25k-£30K p.a. (depending on experience) + performance related bonus

Key responsibilities:

first line responsibility for all client communication and day-to-day project management, in particular briefings, scoping project deliverables and deadlines, quotes, POs, liaison with client and Vyonyx Ltd team on revisions/comments and invoicing
successfully manage client expectations and continually improve service delivery, along with promoting Vyonyx Ltd’s values and services to ensure retention and growth of current clients
organise and lead weekly production meetings, ensuring there is a thorough understanding by the team of the client expectations and project requirements
have an overview of team resources on a day-to-day basis and ensure optimal utilisation of the team
action client feedback promptly at the close of every project.
use feedback to develop improvement initiatives and implement those that are approved
pro-actively identify and acquire new clients and attend networking events
attending pitches and presentations
take leading role in maintaining social media sites

Knowledge, skills and experience – essential and desirable

Essential:

commercial and marketing experience in a client/customer service environment
understanding of art, architecture, construction and design processes
educated to A-level or equivalent

Desirable:

graduate caliber
commitment to ongoing personal development
French – spoken/written
