Area Manager – Little Sports Coaching

Job Description
The role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Manager based in West Yorkshire to join our team. You’ll be responsible for the overall leadership and management of our Leeds base. Build key relationships with colleagues, parents, educational and government services.

The CEO will provide a clear strategic framework that enables the delivery of our operational and financial targets, whilst ensuring a positive relationship with the organisation’s business and community partners. Our programmes will provide increased opportunities for young people to become engaged in sport. You will grow the new operation from the ground up based on existing area models.

Main duties and responsibilities
• Developing the LSC brand through lead generation, sales and growth of the company’s activities in the Leeds area
• Managing delivery of curricular, extra-curricular, weekend and school holiday activities.
• Managing the administration duties involved with the post
• Managing equipment and vehicles
• Promotion/Marketing of sessions, courses and company as a whole

About us
Everybody at Little Sports Coaching plays a part a fundamental role in creating opportunities for children and young people to become engaged in sport in nurseries, schools and private facilities. With over 100 clubs delivering sessions in football, dance, dodgeball, gymnastics and multi sports we run a range of sessions from lunchtime cover, breakfast, after school clubs and holiday courses.

In addition we have a successful football academy and professional team. Founded in 2008 our Junior football team FC Sports have already established and excellent reputation for developing great players in an excellent environment. We now have over 400 players registered to the club and over 30 teams playing each week we have clubs across the North West.

About you
Ideally, you’ll have 5 years’ experience delivering sports coaching, 2 years of account management and an experience in sales would be advantageous. It’s faced paced so you’ll need to be highly motivated with a can-do attitude and be able to work part of a team. This is a brand-new post so you’ll be flexible to change, remain calm under pressure and be passionate about sport.
