Rugby League Team Physiotherapist – North Wales Crusaders – Wrexham

Job Description
A part time post, including evening, weekend and bank holiday work, will involve travel to away matches and some over night stays.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Club Doctors and Strength and Conditioning Coach to provide injury diagnosis, management, prevention and rehabilitation.

Working with North Wales Crusaders Squad, general duties will include:
• Provide Match Day Care For All First Team Fixtures (including away travel)
• Assessment and Rehabilitation Of Injured Players
• Input Into The Development and Implementation of all Screening, Monitoring and injury Prevention Programmes
• Collation of All Relevant Injury Data
• Appropriate Record Keeping Of All Physiotherapy Interventions

You will ideally have experience within a professional rugby or equivalent professional sporting environment.

    Essential
• Chartered Physiotherapist; and
• Must be HPC or CSP registered
• Current registration with the Health Professions Council; and
• A degree in physiotherapy or a graduate diploma in physiotherapy; and
• A current RFL IMMOFP qualification (short courses are available and run by the RFL once a month, and can be taken during pre-season after appointed by the club)

Effective communication and inter-personal skills are crucial to this role. A RFL IMOFFP Qualification would be desirable, as would a comprehensive CPD Portfolio with a sports medicine / sports physiotherapy bias.
The post-holder will be a qualified Chartered Physiotherapist, and a registered member of The Health Professions Council.
