Director of Admissions – Charterhouse – Surrey

Charterhouse is a beautiful school and a wonderful place to live and work. It was founded in 1611 and moved to its present magnificent 250 acre site near Godalming in 1872. The School has over 800 pupils aged between 13 and 18, all of whom, except for about 40 ‘day boarders’, are boarders.

Reporting to the Headmaster, with a dotted line to the Director of Finance & Strategy, the Director of Admissions oversees the recruitment and admission of pupils into the School for all year groups. As a member of the School’s Senior Leadership Team, he or she will be expected to have the experience to lead an active Admissions’ strategy, supplemented by coherent and imaginative marketing strategies aimed at attracting and gaining commitment from prospective parents to enrol their sons and daughters into Charterhouse. This is, in part, a new role bringing together for the first time under one Director, the School’s activities and responsibilities for both Pupil Admissions and Marketing.

Charterhouse offers a competitive salary and other benefits including membership of the School’s Sports Club and private medical insurance.
