Marketing Assistant – British Cycling – Manchester

Job Description

British Cycling is the internationally recognised sports governing body for cycling in the UK with over 100,000 members. Our continued success is built on the successful delivery of results at elite level and a strong focus on developing the grass roots of our sport.

The Role

This is an exciting new role within the busy cycle sport and membership marketing and communications team.

The purpose of the role is to provide support to the team to facilitate the delivery of growth and engagement targets. You will be involved in a range of projects – briefing creative, building emails and liaising with partners and suppliers to deliver effective marketing communications.

This is a fantastic opportunity to put recently acquired marketing skills/experience to good use and develop within a world class sports governing body.

The successful applicant will be able to work using their own initiative but equally a team player with excellent organisational skills that allow for the prioritisation of a busy workload. Strong communication skills and an eye for detail are required.

Experience of working in a marketing role and delivering successful marketing strategies is essential.

Our hours of work are 37.5 per week, and weekend and evening work will sometimes be required. British Cycling operates a pension scheme, a salary sacrifice childcare voucher scheme and a cycle to work scheme. All employees are provided with Gold Membership of British Cycling.
