International Programme Accountant – British Red Cross – London

The International Programme Accountant (W&C Africa & OSBs) is managed by the International Programme Finance Manager, acts as a finance business partner to the Head of Region for West & Central Africa & Overseas Branches (OSBs), providing services including financial management, financial training, financial risk assessments and support to overseas finance staff and offices.

The purpose of the role is:
– to maintain the integrity of the financial information in the BRC finance system for the region.
– to carry out financial risk assessments of Partner National Societies in the region.
– to analyse, interpret and report on the region’s consolidated budgets and forecasts, assessing the implications and recommending possible courses of action to the Head of Region.
– to carry out financial management tasks for all restricted funds in the region.
– the ability to speak French would be a real advantage
