Protect local wildlife

The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife. We are looking for a Fundraising Officer to join our small friendly team to develop and implement the charities fundraising activities. This is a permanent role working 35 hours per week.

The post holder will account manage a range of corporate partners, write proposals to a range of funders and assist with gaining donations from High Wealth individuals.

The successful candidate will be a good team player, with a friendly, outgoing personality and the ability to demonstrate initiative and work well under pressure. Fundraising experience is desirable but more importantly we are looking for an experienced networker, proven negotiator and relationship builder, with strong written and oral skills, and the ability to engage across many levels.
