Account Manager UK and Ireland
We are hiring for the role of Account Manager for UK and Ireland. We will be trusting you to be the relationship face of our company and to take care of our client’s needs in the use of our technology.
We are looking for someone with a background in the technology sector and/or experience in the events industry. The ideal candidate would already have contacts in the industry but most important is a mind for solving problems and have skills in developing strong relationships with clients.
You will be working in a startup environment. Your mindset is all hands on deck and whatever it takes to get the job done. You will be reporting to the Head of UK and Ireland however this is not a regular corporate job – we expect you to be proactive, organised, able to motivate yourself on your own and take initiative. We also don’t believe in cutthroat corporate culture and forcing you to be in a cubicle all day. Rather, we believe in empowering and entrusting you to make the right decisions to get results. What we are looking for in an Account Manager:
Self Sufficient – You will be able to manage your own workload, be extremely organised and prioritise tasks without being micromanaged.
International – Your focus is on the UK and Ireland, but you understand and appreciate other cultures and are able to work with colleagues globally.
Open and flexible – You can take on multiple projects and ideas, and be comfortable with ambiguity.
Team player – You are able to manage your own workload but are also happy to jump in and support your colleagues when necessary
Entrepreneurial – You don’t want to ride along in a safe corporate job. You have an appetite for calculated risk, and you know how to manage it. The UK & Ireland division of the company is going through a phase of rapid growth and your input to drive the company forward is valuable.
Experienced – Prior experience in Account Management or a client facing role preferably within the technology, events or endurance sectors. You must be very technologically savvy as you will need to learn the system inside and out and keep up with our fast paced development.
